Leanna Lenee, the girlfriend and fiancée of Travis Hunter, has recently faced criticism from fans who believe she has exhibited concerning behaviors in her relationship with the Heisman winner.
Now, the 22-year-old is breaking her silence, passionately asserting that the love she shares with her future NFL player partner is genuine.
Lenee shared an eight-minute video on TikTok where she addressed the criticisms that have surfaced online.
She began with, “I’m going to be addressing all the stuff online because I’m tired emotionally and mentally of seeing people try to make me out to be a person that I am not…”

Throughout the video, she revisited the viral moments for which she had been mocked and shared her version of events.
She first addressed the widely circulated clip where she stated that Travis was “not her type.”
“I don’t care about what people look like or what they can give me,” she stated. “I date people based on who they are, how they honor God, and how they treat those around them… and Travis embodies all of that.”
However, while defending herself, she inadvertently revealed details about Travis’s past relationship, referring to him as a “cheater.”
“So when I said he wasn’t my type, I meant because he was younger than me and I had never dated anyone younger. And he had cheated on his girlfriend, I don’t know if your type is cheaters, but mine isn’t… so no he wasn’t my type off of those two things.”
She went on to clarify, “But that didn’t change the fact that I was attracted to him… that’s clearly why I gave him a chance, and I discovered he is truly a phenomenal and wonderful human being and that’s why we are together and why we are together to this day.”
Next, she addressed the viral footage showing her appearing upset after Travis’ final college game, in which he scored three touchdowns in a 52-0 victory against Oklahoma State.

Lenee clarified that the rumors about her being upset due to Travis celebrating with the cheerleaders were unfounded.
She asserted that her displeasure stemmed from security preventing her from getting through the fence.
She continued by discussing an Adidas fan event, refuting claims that she said, “Am I supposed to just sit here all day?”

Lenee stated that she only asked, “Do you want me to sit here or do you want me to go with the family or stay with you?”
According to her, she didn’t mind him taking pictures with fans, explaining that the people in that video were Adidas staff.
In conclusion, she addressed the “click-bait” news outlets.
“The things I see people fabricate are simply unbelievable… because that’s not what transpired. It feels like people are nitpicking every little detail to distort it into something negative. Then, misguided individuals accept whatever they see online.”
