Tom Brady has at last acknowledged what everyone witnessing him rejoice over his seventh Super Bowl victory pretty much sensed.
The former Patriots and Buccaneers quarterback was observed tossing the Lombardi Trophy from one boat to another during the Bucs’ parade. It appeared that the most exceptional of all time had partaken a little more than he should have on the day, and he has now confessed.
In a conversation with former colleague Rob Gronkowski on his ‘Let’s Go’ podcast, Brady mentioned that he did not evaluate the possible outcomes of the Lombardi Trophy falling into the water.
“I feel like you sort of had like, two beverages, and you hadn’t in a couple of years and the two drinks, compared to someone else, would be completely sober and very capable,” Gronkowski informed him (H/T People). “You consumed two drinks and were like, ‘Oh I’m sensing it.’”
“I was definitely intoxicated, because had I not been, I don’t think I would’ve taken the risk realizing that thing would’ve plummeted like 90 ft. to the bottom of the bay,” TB12 confessed.
Well, reveal something we are not aware of.
It would have been quite an event if Brady’s teammates hadn’t caught what was potentially the most vital reception of his career. However, we speculate it’s an issue a few proficient divers could have resolved had it come to that.
