The pain of the loss hit harder than just the score for the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday, as they fell to 2-4 following a 32-13 defeat against the Pittsburgh Steelers on their home turf. The team’s challenges are evidently more profound.
Davante Adams finds his name repeatedly surfacing in trade discussions, while Maxx Crosby has also drawn attention, particularly after a video surfaced showing him pushing assistant coach Mike Caldwell on the sidelines, which is making the rounds. This has sparked speculation about issues beyond just an unfortunate game.
Crosby recorded half a sack during the game, but it’s his behavior that is raising eyebrows, leading to questions about whether he too might be on the move.

Crosby promptly took to social media to play down the occurrence, referring to Caldwell as “one of the best people in the business” and describing it as a “love push.” However, the rumor mill remains active, particularly with reports emerging about serious leg injuries sustained by Lions’ pass-rusher Aidan Hutchinson. It’s not hard to speculate that the Raiders, whose fortunes are waning, might consider capitalizing on Crosby’s value while they still have the chance.
At a record of 2-4, the Raiders appear to be edging towards a complete overhaul, and both Crosby and Adams stand out as their premier assets for potential trades. With the trade deadline approaching, should their situation not improve, there’s a strong possibility they might look to accumulate draft picks by trading away their star players.
For the time being, Crosby remains with the Raiders, but it’s evident that frustration is mounting—not only for him but for a team that is facing the prospect of yet another disappointing season.
