Johnny Manziel is seeking love this Valentine’s Day following the end of his relationship with Josie Canseco. The former NFL signal-caller and Canseco, the daughter of the well-known MLB player Jose Canseco, have ended their romance, with both unfollowing each other on social media and erasing numerous posts that highlighted their time together.
According to sources speaking to TMZ Sports, there is no ill will between the two after their breakup, and Manziel is reportedly concentrating on his personal development.
Manziel, now 32, and Canseco first ignited romance speculation in April 2024, following a charity softball event organized by rapper Travis Scott. The couple appeared to bond quickly, frequently giving glimpses of their relationship on social media platforms.
In December, Canseco took to Instagram to share a touching tribute for Manziel’s birthday, showcasing the two in an intimate moment. The post featured a scene of them enjoying a bath together, with Manziel washing Canseco’s hair, capturing their close bond.
The duo also had a public outing in Aspen, Colorado, at the end of January, which seemed to indicate their relationship was thriving. Nonetheless, their abrupt separation came as a shock to many, as both have since removed the majority of their joint posts from their online profiles.
This marks another chapter in Manziel’s complex romantic narrative. The former Heisman Trophy winner was married to Bre Tiesi in 2018 but their marriage ended in divorce in 2021. With Valentine’s Day approaching, Manziel is on the hunt for love as he takes time for introspection and growth.
